Mr. Anthony Yip oversees the APM Group spanning across Singapore, Malaysia and China.

With more than 30 years professional experience in real estate focusing on mixed used developments and hospitality; and more recently in the education sector, Mr. Yip is passionate about value creation, customer centricity and talent development.

Prior to joining APM, Mr. Yip was the Chief Executive of Shatec Institutes Pte Ltd, a hospitality and culinary institution, wholly owned by the Singapore Hotel Association. Shatec's mission is to nurture and groom local and international talents for the tourism and hospitality industry in Singapore. He continues to serve on the Board of Shatec Institutes.

From 2007 to 2009, Mr. Yip was Director (Retail Management) at Far East Organization where he helped reorganise and built a team of professionals to take the Retail Business Group forward. Mr. Yip had bottom line responsibility for retail Assets Under Management in excess of S$2b.

Mr Yip was the Director and General Manager of Tincel Properties, the past owner of the S$2.08b Raffles City Complex, which comprised Raffles City Tower, Raffles City Shopping Centre, a 2000 room five star hotel complex and Convention Centre from 2002 to 2006. The team lead by Mr Yip created the Raffles Marketplace, a cornerstone of the asset enhancement programme for the development.

Prior to this, he was the Senior Vice President, Planning and Business Development for Raffles Holdings Limited (RHL) where he spearheaded RHL’s growth through mergers & acquisitions, management agreements, hotel leases as well as asset acquisitions to attain an international portfolio of 13,000 hotel rooms in North & South America , Europe and Asia.

Mr Yip holds a Masters in Business Administration from National University of Singapore as well as a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) with Class II Honours Division 1 from University of Auckland. He was the past President of the Shopping Centre Association of Singapore and continues to serve on the National Family Council, Singapore.

Ms Susan Sim is the Chief Executive Officer of the company. Ms Sim has 20 years of experience in property development and management in Singapore, Malaysia, China, Indonesia and Vietnam. Prior to joining the company, Ms Sim was a Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of a boutique investment management firm which managed an AIM-listed Vietnam property fund. She was the General Manager of Guocoland Limited, a SGX-listed property developer in Asia, and prior to that, a Senior Vice President of Mapletree Investments Pte Ltd, a leading Singapore property investment company where she managed an extensive asset portfolio of over 7 million square feet of office, logistics, industrial and retail properties including the largest lifestyle and shopping mall in Singapore. Ms Sim was also the Director, Retail of DBS Land Pte Ltd (now known as Capitaland Ltd).

Ms Sim holds a Bachelor's (Honours) degree in Finance from Southern Illinois University.

Ms Lai heads the Finance team and is responsible for all accounting, finance, tax and treasury functions of the company. She works closely with members of the Management team to formulate strategies and provide advice on finance related matters.

Ms Lai has more than 14 years of experience in accounting and finance. Prior to joining APM, Ms Lai was the Financial Controller with Suntec City Development Pte Ltd. Formerly, she was the Group Assistant Financial Controller with Banyan Tree Limited responsible for day-to-day management of the finance operations. Ms Lai had also held various positions with SIA Engineering Company Limited, a subsidiary of Singapore Airline listed on SGX. She began her career as an auditor in 1997.

Ms Lai holds a Master of Business Administration from University of Western Australia and a Bachelor in Business (Accountancy with Distinction) from Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Australia. She is a Certified Public Accountant with the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore.
